For children’s feet prophylaxis is the key. Physiological flat feet and ankle deformity occur in the first years of life and should disappear in time. However, if the changes persist or worsen, the forming of the arch of the foot is disturbed. It may result in emergence of more serious deformations and ailments.
How does Alto Kids work?
The fulcrum
including the longitudinal arch, together with the core inside, reduces the risk of flat feet.
Fulcrum’s the channel-shaped heel area stabilises the heel and guarantees a neutral physiological position to reduce ankle deformity and, if used regularly, results in permanently improved walk.
Application
Alto Kids – From 5 to 10 years of age, mild ankle deformity, knee deformity, ankle joint hypermobility, longitudinal flat feet, flexible flatfoot.
How to determine your insole size?
If you are not sure about your shoe size, we recommend to take the following steps to get an accurate foot measurement:
- In order to measure the feet from toes to heel, you will need only paper, pen and ruler.
- Place the paper on the floor against the wall. Plant one foot on the paper with your heel against the wall.
- Mark the furthest point of your foot on the paper. Repeat for both feet, as it often happens that they are different.
- Measure the length and compare it with the table below. Choose the size that fits the longer foot.
