For a runner who weighs 80 kilograms, 40 minutes of running at a distance of 10 kilometres means additional 500 tonnes of load per foot. It is the feet that have to withstand the excessive load during your favourite exercises. The risk of injuries, sprains and fractures is significantly increased.
How does Alto Sports work?
The fulcrum
has a special channel-shaped insert, which guarantees a perfect and neutral position of the heel, that transfers into better foot stability during intensive exercising. The ABSORBER inside absorbs shocks and protects the heels against hitting the floor, which combined with well-adjusted shoes significantly reduces the risk of microtraumas.
The fulcrum includes the transverse and longitudinal arches, provides full contact with the floor, which in result prevents excessive pronation and supination during exercising.

How to determine your insole size?
If you are not sure about your shoe size, we recommend to take the following steps to get an accurate foot measurement:
- In order to measure the feet from toes to heel, you will need only paper, pen and ruler.
- Place the paper on the floor against the wall. Plant one foot on the paper with your heel against the wall.
- Mark the furthest point of your foot on the paper. Repeat for both feet, as it often happens that they are different.
- Measure the length and compare it with the table below. Choose the size that fits the longer foot.
